Christmas Traditions – I Heart Faces

I can’t say that I have any specific family tradition that is unique for us.  One tradition does hold true…we always have fun spending time with our families.  I decided to post a picture video showing last year’s Christmas as well as some old footage of one of our last Christmases in the home I grew up in.  Talk about suddenly feeling old!  Hope you enjoy.  (I love the song that goes with this video!)

P.S.  The video was done through Animoto.  This site gives 6 month grants to teachers which includes a class code and can be reapplied for at the end of the 6 month period.   I think (although not completely sure) that homeschoolers can apply.

  • Pam D - So. My ancient computer system can't "compute" that video… BUT… we have a brand new blazin' Dell system on it's way as our (my) Christmas present. Oh.. and Photoshop Elements is sitting here in the house, waiting to be used. Not the full-blown program but I am happy. Anyway.. while waiting for the video to load, and before realizing that the little black hair trying to grow on my chin would be long enough to braid before that video loaded.. I did get to watch your header scroll. Oh. my. goodness. I've never watched it all the way through. What awesome pics!!! Yeah… you rock!ReplyCancel

  • Angie - The Arthur Clan - Look at you Miss Techness Herself with the coolest entry ever! :) Love the old videos…we need to make sure to take videos more often.

P.S. Loved the song too! First time I had heard that one.ReplyCancel

  • Life with Kaishon - Oh. I loved the video. Loved. Loved. Loved. I love your Dad reading the Christmas story. He looks like the perfect Grandpa! Especially when he made that face at the end. I love mennonites! Did I see one in there. Just when I thought I couldn't love you ANY more that I already do, I do : ). The kids look SO tiny don't they? That is just crazy. I also love that song. And I love that there is so much happiness and love. I don't know why that made me cry, but it did. Jimminy Crickets! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas vacation! Love, BeckyReplyCancel
