I Heart Faces ~ Focus on the hands

I took this photo of Nathan on July 4th.  We were out four-wheeling and I almost ran over this little frog.  As you can see in the photo, Nathan has already picked up my nail-chewing habit.  Life must be stressful for a five-year old…epecially when your mom is narrowly missing poor, helpless amphibians!

  • Amanda - FIRST .. this is a great shot .. SECOND I heart frogs… GOOD JOBReplyCancel

  • Life with Kaishon - You almost killed that little frog? Poor thing. I would chew my nails around you too : ) Oh, wait, I always chew my nails : ) it doesn't matter if you are around or not!

I love your picture. So much. Like always. Now I am off to see why you want me to shoot in raw : )ReplyCancel

One good thing about chewed fingernails is that they stay cleaner. My boys always look as though they've been digging potatoes with all the dirt that gets trapped under there!ReplyCancel

  • Anita Johnson - Great photo and the chewes nails make it more real than ever…great cropping too!ReplyCancel

  • Pam D - Well, you KNOW that I love it! Because I have about a hundred just like it in my collection, with frogs, bugs, turtles, snakes and lizards. Gotta love those boys… :<)
And, after a couple of people admonished me for not having a pic of Adam with a critter, it jogged my memory of a shoot I did with him in Sept. AND, I finally got my new 'puter hooked up and loaded Elements. So, check out the first pic in my True Story Tuesday post at http://lifebythecreek.wordpress.com/ ; it's my first real Elements edit! Now, how do I load those Coffeshop actions, because the diretions she gives do NOT match up with what I see. :<(ReplyCancel

  • Becky - Totally awesome!!ReplyCancel

  • Suki - This is a tiny frog! So cute!
