Nathan was still using training wheels up until today. Mark wanted me to let everyone know that we blame ourselves…weren’t too good about getting Nathan out there biking. Now that we are using the amazing bike path near us, it seemed time to get Nathan going without the training wheels.
The problem was, Nathan got panicky any time Mark tried to take the training wheels off.
So, Mark offered up the big bribe…as soon as Nathan learned, Mark promised to buy him a new bike. Not a lead sled like he already had – instead one from a real bike store.
That’s all it took. Mark took Nathan out biking this morning and as soon as Mark let him go, Nathan got the hang of it.
We bought the bike and took it out for a spin this evening with Grandma and Grandpa. If we keep heading out every day like we have been, we should be skinny in no time!

That looks like so much fun : )
Lead sled. You are like the smartest, teacheriest kind of girl I know : ) I would have never thought of that alliteration. Is alliteration the right word for that?
Kaish didn't ride without training wheels until he was 7.
PS You are skinny already.
Sean is very afraid of riding his bike still..it is just a nmatter of time and they are ready! great picuture..(I borrowed one for my blog of the berry picking!)
Great photos to capture fun memories. The kids will love looking back on these.
